the simple joys of our Italian flat in Rome: terrace mornings, stovetop cappuccinos, a well-equipped Italian kitchen, and our lovely landlady.

- the amazing toilet paper that seemed infinite (seems like 1 roll can last 1 week vs 1 day with Asian rolls)
- the big enough drying rack where it can carry 3 sets of wash load (small loads)
- the delicate baby-friendly detergent that's available for you to use
- how clean our trash cans are, and I don't ever have to worry about cockroaches
- the tiny clock that ticks silently at night
- the water boiler to make my morning tea
- the big enough pantry counter to prepare my supplements in the morning
- the ice cube tray inside the freezer (so I never need to buy ice anymore)
- the big expandable working table where I sit for hours
- the small walk in closet where i can put all my supplements, luggage, food
- how everything has its own place in the kitchen
- tens of pots and pans in all sizes that's readily available and I don't have to buy for a short stint
- the gas stove, it being powered by gas and not induction
- the easy to use oven where I can bake my pizza, and the pans that came along with it
- the heated water
- the big enough shower area
- the Samsung washing machine that sings when it finishes washing
- the homey couch
- Netflix on the TV
- the blinders that are
- how the one bedroom door opens to the terrace and the living area opens to the terrace
- the small table that greets me when I come home
- the cute old-school elevator
- the small platform in between the room and living room, which also elevates the kitchen
- the functional ledge on the bed side table where I can easily put my laptop at night
- the big sink in the bathroom
- the gigantic chopping board where I don't run out of space
- how the metro line A is just few meters away
- how an unlimited commute pass is just 35 euros per calendar month
- how the Vatican is just 20 minutes away and can easily be a jogging path
- how there are dozens of groceries nearby especially Conad and Penny
- how we are surrounded by butcher shops, DHL and amazon pick up stations
- best of all, our cute land lady Luciana who responds very fast and is very accommodating about everything
