AI gives more jobs
I know, I know. "AI is taking away your job!" ~ is the most common clickbait nowadays.
But then I encountered this ad by Framer on my youtube feed. Framer allows you to design web pages. Then it dawned into me, that suddenly, those that don't have the skills - coding and web design in this instance - can now have those skills. And you don't need to spend years to be able to do what a senior programmer can do. Everything is sped up already. Whatever skill you want to have - speaking a new language, copywriting, coding, designing - you can have it, only if you are willing to learn.
Then you can offer that service. We are now focused more on the results than the years of experience. Because before, the years of experience is correlated to the output of the person. But now the line's becoming more blurry and blurry. Vibe coders are on the rise.
Businesses are still ran by teams. There will still be that one person that needs to pull the trigger and work with the AI.
And you could be that person.
